Compassionate Organizing for Life’s Transitions
Patient, respectful help for seniors, families and people with disabilities.
Hello, I’m Stacey
Stacey Schakel, MSN, RN
Proud memberInternational Organization of Professional Organizers (IAPO)Ten years ago, as my grandmother was facing the end of her life, we shared a conversation that would quietly chart the course for my future. I was telling her how much I truly loved helping people navigate the overwhelming process of organizing and clearing out their spaces during life’s final chapters. She listened, looked at me, and said she could clearly see my deep passion and compassion for this work. Then she made a prediction: “You’re going to do this when you retire.”
Now, having reached retirement, her words have come full circle. My Organizer For You was born from that pivotal moment and a lifelong dedication to serving others with empathy, dignity, and care.
Organizing during transitions isn’t just about clearing physical spaces. It’s about easing burdens, honoring memories, and offering a gentle, trusted supporting hand when families need it most.

You may see me at local Cape Cod events. Stop by my table and say hello!

Kind Words
From the families and clients I’ve had the honor to help.
Stacey was a tremendous all-round help when I was in the process of preparing to sell my house on Cape Cod and move across the country to Oregon. There were so many times that I didn’t know where to start, but Stacey’s guiding questions helped me figure out next steps. We had checklists, daily tasks, and breaks for yummy treats! She made a difficult task, both fun and manageable!JoAnn, Oregon / Mashpee
Stacey recently assisted me with cleaning several closets, eliminating some clothes and shoes that have been around for a very long time. Some of them belonged to my mom who passed away three years ago. Stacey was very patient and respectful. She was a wonderful help and I’m very grateful. Thank you.Nancy K., Cape Cod
Stacey was not only extremely helpful, but also very easy to work with!!! I fully endorse her as a neurodivergent-friendly personal organizer! She is a rare find and true gem.Amy A., Hyannis, MA
I want to say thank you for all the care, love, and friendship you shared with my Aunt. You played such an important role in her life as she became more and more dependent. You also provided our family with support, knowledge, and peace of mind. For all of this I am truly grateful.Mary, a client’s niece
